Recently I was given the opportunity to test
ShieldZone's invisibleShield screen/device protectors. According to ShieldZone's site, their screen protectors are so tough and durable that you will only need one for the life of what ever device you choose to cover. They feel so sure that you will be impressed that they back their protectors with both a 30 day 100% satisfaction guarantee and a lifetime replacement guarantee. They even offer to replace your protector if you have to take it off if you need to send your device in for service. With the company standing so firmly behind their product, I was very excited to take ShieldZone's invisibleShield Screen Protectors for a spin.
The first thing that struck me about the screen protectors is that they included a plastic squeegee and a bottle of spray to help apply the protector to your device. Every other package of screen protectors I have ever purchased have at best only included a flimsy piece of cardboard that you are supposed to use to remove bubbles from under the protector (but they never work). The included squeegee works marvelously at removing air bubbles from under the protector and the spray makes positioning the protector super easy. I am lousy at applying screen protectors. When I buy a pack of screen protectors it usually takes 2 or 3 protectors for me to get one on right. With the invisibleShield, I was able to get it on right with my first try. Simply apply the spray to both sides of the protector and then place it on your device, sliding it into its final position. Then squeegee out all the air bubbles, and wipe off the excess spray. Just let the protector set for the recommended 24 hours and you are done. ShieldZone even provides installation videos on the website if you would like to see a invisibleShield being applied.
Once applied the protectors are almost completely invisible. In fact, I was impressed that the protector on my Sony PSP was just as hard to see as the PSP with protector shown on ShieldZone's site. I figured that the promotional picture was "touched-up", but looking at my PSP with the screen protector applied, the invisibleShield is just as "invisible" as advertised. Protection-wise the invisibleShield is phenomenal. I flailed my PSP with my keys to no avail. I could not scratch the protector. If it could stand up to that, I am very confident that a invisibleShield could stand up to the toughest punishment. In fact, the material that ShieldZone uses to make their invisibleShields is the same material used by the US Military to protect helicopter rotor blades from damage, so it can stand up to pretty much anything you can throw at it.
For the first time ever, I don't have a single negative thing to say about a product I have reviewed. ShieldZone's invisibleShield protectors are a simple product that has only one job, protect your expensive gadgets, and they do it very well. Much better than any other screen protectors that I have ever used. To top it all off, the company stands behind their product and provides support that is second to none. ShieldZone's invisibleShield gets a thumbs up from Geek In Gear. If you are looking for a screen protector, I suggest that you give ShieldZone's products a try. They have protectors for a wide range of devices from watches to laptops ranging in price from $9 to $40.
